David Lipschutz (Swami Enoch
Dasa Giri) is an inspirational teacher who shares the living tradition
of yoga with warmth, humor and sincerity. He is a direct disciple of
Goswami Kriyananda who carries the flame of the Kriya lineage brought to
this country by Paramahansa Yogananada.
David has devoted himself to
the study and practice of the Kriya Tradition for over thirty years. His
life is dedicated to helping those that wish to open their minds to
deeper knowledge, their hearts to greater kindness and their lives to
unselfish service.
David is President of the
Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, where he oversees the Temple’s teacher
training and home study programs. He owns a vegetarian restaurant called
the Blind Faith Cafe and is a founding partner of the Evanston School of
Yogic Studies.
In 1998 he was ordained into
the yogic priesthood. At that time he received the title Swami Enoch
Dasa Giri. Through his work as an ordained priest, teacher, professional
astrologer and successful restauranteur he has a first hand
understanding of the joys and challenges of being a householder on the
yogic pathway. |
