Study Groups

Study groups are a chance for small groups to delve into more depth on a particular topic and learn together. Anyone is welcome to join at any time. We're an easy going bunch and we enjoy talking about topics that interest us especially with newcomers!

Most groups meet at Sachi Wellness Center and there is a suggested $5.00 donation to cover the cost of space rental.

Guest Speakers

We host speakers for teachings and discussions on various subjects, such as Judaism, Gnosticism, Buddhism, Baha'i, etc.

We have, in the past, hosted guest speaker(s) for a weekend of teaching. The topics have included The Kabbalah, The Baghavad Gita, and Kriya Yoga.

Series

Twice a year we sponsor a several week series with Aramaic and Biblical Scholar, Hanny Freiwat, and learn how to understand the Bible in the context of the culture in which it was written - truly a transformational understanding!

Service

Projects

Tea and Cookie has a strong commitment to service within our community, nationally and internationally. We sponsor several service projects every year with an emphasis on education and organizations serving persons in need.

Book Club

We meet every other month to discuss a book relevant to our purpose. The questions and insights generated are posted on the site for others to use in their own groups.

For a list of the books we’ve explored click here.

Movie Nights

We meet every other month or so to watch a movie or documentary that raises questions, enlightens or otherwise promotes an understanding of different religious, philosophical or scientific thought.

For a list of suggested movies click here.

Cyber

Teachings

We sponsor teachings by “conference call” in which persons from all over the country can join us to listen and ask questions of Scholars in the field of Sanskrit, Mythology and Yogic Teachings.
